Casting Off Again! Department of Parks Grand Opening of New Lake Needwood Boathouse

ROCKVILLE, MD-After last summer’s deluge, the Lake Needwood Boathouse at Rock Creek Regional Park is back in business. The Montgomery County Department of Parks will celebrate with a grand opening of the new and completely renovated boathouse, which will feature chances to win FREE park naturalist-led pontoon boat tours of Lake Needwood, reduced rates on boat rentals, updates on Needwood Dam repairs, giveaways, food and fun. At Rock Creek Regional Park the same day, Hudson Trail Outfitters will also host Boat and Bike Demo Day.
